Brooklyn Inn

This weekend a few friends and I went to the opening of Smorgasburg, a huge food market from prepared cooked foods to fresh fruits and veggies. Our favorite was the Porcetta guys, they make a tasty pork slider. I also loved the Red Jacket Orchards strawberry/apple combo, super refreshing after a long hot bike ride to Williamsburg (not really long). There even was a guy selling home brewed kombucha and kombucha home-brewing kits! If you love Brooklyn food then this is the place to be on Saturdays this summer.

Afterwards we picked up one of our dogs, Francie, and headed over to Brooklyn Inn in our neck of the woods, Boerum Hill. Brooklyn Inn is super laid back, and is just a beautiful space, it has all it's original details including a huge mirror behind the bar. It's dog-friendly too. Draft beers, range from $5-$7, mostly local beers like Kelso, Captain Lawrence, Sixpoint, etc.
