Blythe Nostalgic Pop! On her way!

I bought this young lady yesterday I'm so excited because I was hoping there would be a brunette like Mrs Retro Mama who I have and think she has one of the most unique faces from all the girls. I know that sounds odd when the face molds for all the Radiance faces are the same but the fabrication and makeup is very different giving MRM a luminescent feature that none of the other girls have. Dainty Biscuit also has her own face uniqueness that her face has an iridescent fabrication. According to Blythe News on the CWC/Takara Blythe site Nostalgic Pop will have a luminescent face. She's already been shipped out!!!! She's coming EMS so hopefully I'll have her by next week. Now for a name, hmmmmm....

Dolly Dolly patterns Vol 8 patterns

ISBN978-4-7661-2079-0

I took yet another trip to Kinokuniya and bought a few books and mags, but I'm just showcasing right now the Dolly Dolly patterns book because it's freaking amazing! The patterns are the best so far and the inspirational pics a lovely and retro looking, plus Kenners are are doing most of the Blythe modeling. Aside from the über cute Blythe patterns there are some great Momoko, Misaki, Tiny Betsy McCall, Odeco & Nikki, patterns. Here are a few pics.

This pic has made me want this doll so badly and she's no longer available!!!!

Cafe & Zakka FuFuFu *cross post*

This is my absolutely favorite place in Kyoto, Zakka & Cafe FuFuFu. It's tiny and perfect, they serve coffee, tea and lovely tasty treats. They have a small handmade goods(zakka)store on one wall of the cafe, and the opposite wall acts as a gallery for some of their crafters' pieces. They have a little seating area where you can enjoy your beverage or snack and just wile the hours away reading or just lost in a daze of a crafter's dream. I highly recommend checking it out. I posted this on my Japan blog also just think it's the greatest place.
