Tiny Treat by Las Mininas

I've been meaning to resize a pattern from Blythe to Minifee size for a Duffel coat and I finally did it. It took only a few minutes to resize. Then I cut the fabric with the pattern in place and voila, a little cut n' sew and we have a cute little corduroy coat ready for your girl! Yes, that's right, your girl this time. It's for yours not mine, just head on over to my dolly etsy store. OOAK little pink corduroy coat.

BIG SNEAKS IN JAPAN! (MSD Converse for sale or trade)

I bought these from Dollmore and I got them yesterday in the mail, and they are über big on my Minifee. I didn't remove the from their packaging but I can see they are super large through the package. I'm selling them for what I paid $7 USD, plus shipping to your area (please U.S., only).
The measurements given on the site for these converse are 8cm(foot)x11cm(shaft height). These are the super extra high tops, super bummed they don't fit my girl. I'm also willing to trade for another pair of shoes that fit my girl.

Minifee Dress Pattern available in my Etsy store

So I decided to put my dress pattern up for sale on my Las Mininas etsy store. It's a relatively easy pattern to use and looks super cute on her. I will send a pdf after payment is received. As with all my stuff this pattern copyrighted and is meant for personal use only. You can't resale the pattern and you can't sell items made with the pattern. If you are interested in licensing the pattern please email me. Sorry to get serious guys but you have to protect your stuff these days like crazy.

Snippets of what the pattern looks like.

Sunday blues....grays, and browns

Today I finished the rest of my bags for the Astoria Market. I also took inventory of my stock from the store and I think I'm pretty ready. So with some time left over on my Sunday I finished my coat for my lovely new dolly Anaya Rowan, the minifee. I was lucky to find some little Japanese iron-on patches to complete the coat and I received the split zipper two weeks ago so it's a real zip-up hoodie. Now she needs some leggings and a skirt, have to make a pattern though. I would write more about this weekend except that I am having a bit of a blue Sunday and I can't get myself to write much. Take a look at the finished projects.

Minifee madness

I recently "adopted" a Fairyland Minifee Miyu a la carte. I ordered her about a month ago so I probably won't see her until December. Yesterday I pulled out an Unoa hoodie pattern from a Dolly Dolly mook. I'm hoping it will fit my minifee since the hoodie is a baggy style and not fitted. I'm more concerned with the cuff openings especially since the hoodie in the pic is a knit and

I'm using corduroy which has no give. I figure I can always pop off her hands to get it through. I picked a rich navy baby wale cord, one of my absolute favorites from my cords.
I also cut a grey knit sleeveless top. I still need to enlarge a leggings pattern to make a matching pair to the top. Figure anything knit or baggy will probably fit. I already have some shoes and a wig for her. I so excited for her arrival! I will post pics of the finished hoodie and top as soon as I'm done with them.

Dolly Dolly patterns Vol 8 patterns

ISBN978-4-7661-2079-0

I took yet another trip to Kinokuniya and bought a few books and mags, but I'm just showcasing right now the Dolly Dolly patterns book because it's freaking amazing! The patterns are the best so far and the inspirational pics a lovely and retro looking, plus Kenners are are doing most of the Blythe modeling. Aside from the über cute Blythe patterns there are some great Momoko, Misaki, Tiny Betsy McCall, Odeco & Nikki, patterns. Here are a few pics.

This pic has made me want this doll so badly and she's no longer available!!!!

June's here!

"June Bug" 2008©janneserojas

I got my new Blythe yesterday! Her name is June Bug. I fixed her frizzy hair last night and made her a new crochet hat today. The pattern was totally made up, it's a little wonky but you really have to look to tell.

Finished the clay doll!

I finished my little paperclay doll, I actually
didn't expect it to come out as decent as it did, considering it's the
first time a sculpt anything since freshman year at SVA which was an eon ago. It was really fun and it was instantly gratifying, I highly recommend it. This little doll is inspired by my little Las Mininas girls.

Re-ment winter fashion for SALE!

okay I just went to Kinokuniya and bought all the winter fashion set they had, which was 7 out of the 8. Of course the one I wanted the most was the one missing, dag-nab-it. But I'm selling a few of them because they weren't my favorite to begin with. Okay so if anyone has the one I marked "A" and wants to trade for one of the ones I'm selling I'm down with that.

A= dress I want
B= trench coat with fur trim $6.30
C= green dress only (not scarf) $5.00 SOLD
D= jeans with sweater hoodie/poncho $6.30 SOLD
E= blue jacket only with bell sleeves $2.00 SOLD
F= pom pom winter cap (barbie head size) $1.00 SOLD

B and D are the only two that are the full set, I am charging exactly what I paid.

I will ship the item in an envelope, no box so it will be cheaper. I just took the items out of the box and plastic and tried it on my girls for 30 seconds.

U.S. shipping $0.50 (one item or group)
International $1.50

Jillybug's custom overalls

I finished this commission last night. Jill asked for a pair of overalls that matched her peppermint corduroy coat with a little mouse on it, that she just purchased from me last week. So here is Mathilda modeling the peppermint corduroy overalls with a kitty on the pocket.

Fall coats! Creamsicle colors!

I just finished these 4 little coats they are up on my etsy store, get'em quick, because they usually go right away. They are all lined and hand embroidered.I had started them at the end of the summer but had to stop work on them because of the Curious Pictures job. Then I left for Japan, so for the last few days I have been embroidering on the train on the way into my freelance job in the mornings to get these guys finished up and start some new stuff with all the new fabrics I got in Japan!

sorry for the huge pics, but you wouldn't be able to see the embroidered details otherwise.

las mininas

blue corderoy with mariner cat
SOLD

lavender corderoy with little girl in winter gear
SOLD

mint green corderoy with little girl mouse wearing an apron
SOLD

pink corderoy with hedgehog eating icecream
SOLD

More coats, overalls, hats, and dresses coming soon. Just taking a minute to get my home in order and making my new girl a new outfit that suits her for the Blythe meet at Gina's.

Hard at work

So I busted my ass making these pieces look like a real person is wearing them, and think I did a damn fuckin' good job! The orange dress still needs buttons not sure about the grey one, I'm thinking about it. I think it looks cleanier and just elegant with the hidden button look.

Crochet Sunday and Duct Tape!

So we had another crochet sunday, this time at Suet's house. Suet's boyfriend made some delicious eatin's and we crocheted/knitted the afternoon away. We also got to wrap Adriana in duct tape! The more we wrapped the steamier she got, and not in a sexy way, and I mean literally she had steam blowin' out the sides of her duct tape body form. The girl almost passed out from the intense heat. It was like a mud wrap but with duct tape and in the end she had a body double to help her sew garments for herself. Here's a link to do it yourself body double

and this was my finished project!
