Gowanus Print Lab + Etsy= fun!

On Monday, I jumped on my bike and pedaled over to the Gowanus, to the Gowanus Print lab where Etsy was having their open craft night with a screen printing demo and free beer. The demo was enlightening but I wished it was more hands-on. We got to print our own tees/totes with a screen already predetermined by Etsy, cute images but I thought we would get to do our own screen, guess for hundreds of peeps that would have been an impossibility. Anywho, the Printlab is pretty amazing, they have lots of screening space, a large four color screen printing machine, a dark room, a huge flat heat dryer, and they can print your acetates from digital files with a special printer, really nice.
