Warwick

We had a mini holiday up in Warwick, NY last week. The creatures came along and they had a lot of fun running in a big back yard and a nice hike in Wawayanda State Park. We stayed at a lovely Barn house, run by Hannah or lovely hostess, a former resident of Brooklyn who made her getaway 11 years ago and made Warwick her home. The House is decorated beautifully with mostly mid-century finds. The town of Warwick is a sweet place full of artists and musicians. Our favorite eatery was Fetch, a dog themed pub with a huge menu. Try their Turkey pot, it's Thanksgiving in an enamelware pot! Yum. Warwick is an hour and half drive from NYC so an easy getaway if you only have a night to spend.
