I made this little dress for my girl last week. I came up with a crochet sweater pattern (took two trials, before I got it)and then sewed a skirt to it made from this sweet Kokka Japanese fabric. pretty satisfied :)

I ebayed my ass of at the beginning of this month and got a bunch of doll clothes patterns from the 60's and 70's. I can't wait to start to make stuff but first I must gently photocopy each one as to not ruin the originals, they are very delicate. Hmmm, what to make first. These are some of them, I also got some crochet patterns and a couple of other sewing patterns. I was sick this week and came up with a little crochet sweater pattern just eyeballing it, it came out pretty decent will post it soon.

My friend sent me this video about, Althea Crome, the woman who made the sweaters for the animated movie Coraline. I think she is amazing! She was also in the subversive knitting show here in NYC. Check out her website and this video:

Frida in a Knit dress and Leg warmers by Dolly Story
This super cute knit outfit is by Dolly Story on Esty, this girl's knitting and crochet skills rock! We think she may be using toothpicks to knit this wee outfits :). She's so sweet that she included in the package pair of tiny leg warmers to match the dress and tiny crocheted barrette to match another sweater (sweet pink) I bought. I'll have pics up of that soon, I need to make a pair of jeans and matching pink crochet hat for June to wear with the sweater.
