October has brought a lot of wonderful Autumn days in NYC and so many fun events.
  Budda turned 14! Budda morning snuggle Berg'n Berg'n Berg'n Wechsler's morning light and my plants Happy Rice New Woven wall hanging for my friend Sewon Lawrence Farms

1.&2. Budda turned 14 and started walking!
3.-5. This is Berg'n, a great beer and food hall that opened in Crown Heights in September, I highly recommend Mighty Quinn's brisket.
6. Weschler's in the East Village, a tiny German Biergarten, beer is great, food, meh.
7. Home Sweet home, my plants in the beautiful morning light peeking out over tall the beautiful townhouses and lovely yards.
8. Delicious "Happy Rice", which is grilled salmon, avocado and spicy mayo over rice, at Ashbox in Greenpoint.
9. Is my latest Woven Wall Hanging that I made for my friend Sewon who's living far away on the West Coast (more wall hangings in my shop)
10. Apple and vegetable picking at Lawrence Farms in Upstate New York, best apple cider doughnuts ever!

Brooklyn Zine Fest this Weekend!


Don't miss the best event in Brooklyn ever, The Brooklyn Zine fest! Saturday and Sunday, April 26th & 27th this weekend at the Brooklyn Historical Society, a very cool venue in Brooklyn Heights. Yours truly will be tabling as Usagi Por Moi, I will have photo & craft zines a plenty, lots of stuff about Japan ,stationery, & crafts. Plus, I will be hosting Dandy Horse Press micro zines and Polkaros lovely zines.

Brooklyn Zine Fest



Good News I will be at the Brooklyn Zinefest again this year. This time its being held at the Brooklyn Historical Society which is a beautiful landmarked building in Brooklyn Heights. The Zinefest is both Saturday and Sunday, April 26th and 27th, but I will be there on the Saturday. More details to come as we get near the actual date. I will be debuting two new zines, another Japan photo zine and a collection of vintage ephemera that can be used much like the Japanese design books with jpgs and pngs a DVD will be included.

Bust Holiday Craftacular this Weekend!

This weekend is the long awaited Bust Craftacular that I've been working my little butt off to make all sorts of goodies for my table on Sunday. Please come by if you are in town this weekend. It's Saturday & Sunday, December 14th & 15th, from 10am to 7pm at the Metropolitan Pavilion. I'll be there Sunday. There will be over 200 vendors including food vendors, so you don't have to worry about going hungry while shopping. Also check out my partner's, Debra Ziss, stuff that I'll be hosting at my table Dandy Horse Press, beautiful greeting cards all dog themed and lovely prints too. The little elves are working hard

The little elves are working their fingers to the bones making stuff for the Craftacular. Well there's only one elf, moi, and my little fingers are working feverishly to make all sorts of good stuff for the Bust Craftacular. Usagi Por Moi at the Bust Holiday Craftacular!!!


Dear friends, I have great news! I was chosen to be a vendor at the biggest craft fair in NYC, The Bust Holiday Craftacular. My little zakka shop will have an array of accessories and stationery goods, please drop by on Sunday December 15th.
